CLAN Edinburgh, The City of Edinburgh Council's literacy and numeracy project,
offers free classes for adults all over the city. Before joining a group
you can chat to a tutor about your learning needs so that you can work
on the things that are important to you. Groups are small and friendly
and you learn at your own pace.

Challenge Fund
CLAN provide a Challenge Fund which supports partnership bids
to run innovative literacies projects. Any organisation can
apply for a grant and there are application submission dates
several times a year (details on their website).
