Arts and Community Projects

Arts South Edinburgh ArtSE is a South Edinburgh Partnership funded initiative linked to Out Of The Blue. It develops and manages arts activities across South Edinburgh. The ArtSE project is responsible for the Summer Carnival celebrating South Edinburgh and a range of arts based activities throughout the year.

The Ca(I)re Project gives informal carers a short break from caring. Our project provides a supportive service that offers free adult education courses on subjects suggested by participants, including courses in the arts, complementary therapies, history, music and many others. One-to-one help for carers on their learning or caring needs; Informal lunches, social events and open days. Our tutors are chosen for their expertise in their subjects and for their understanding of carers’ needs.
