Jewel & Esk Valley College The college is one of Scotland’s largest colleges of further education.The college delivers full time and part time courses, day release, evening classes, short courses and open and flexible learning. Libraries
Come along to you local library for a choice of books, CDs, magazines, audiobooks and newspapers. Every library in Edinburgh provides free Internet access and staff are on hand to help you get started. Look out for events such as storytelling and computer classes. It's free to join the library. The two libraries in the area are Gilmerton and Moredun Library. Gilmerton has a community room which can be booked by groups. See individual entries for details.

Moredun Community Centre is an independent community centre run by Moredun Community Association, a group of local volunteers, under the umbrella of The City Edinburgh Council Community Education Department.
